Muller leaves Rob in a Huff

Muller leaves Rob in a Huff
Yvan Muller took a win and a second place to close the gap to team-mate Rob Huff in the World Touring Car Championship standings at Brno.
The Frenchman, the defending champion, had been the man to beat at the Czech track all weekend, topping every session on his way to taking pole position.
But he was beaten by Chevrolet colleague Huff to the win in race one as the duo played out a thrilling opening lap battle, with the Briton eventually getting by to take a lead he was never to relinquish as Muller was forced to settle for second with Alain Menu third in the other Chevrolet.
Muller then started eighth on the reverse grid for race two and produced an inspired drive to work his way on to the tail of leader Tom Coronel within five laps.
The Dutchman was unable to hold Muller off as he stormed away to take his second win of the season, but did an excellent job of holding off Menu and Huff to take a well-deserved second place in his ROAL Motorsport BMW.
Muller's win means he closes to within 25 points of Huff, with Menu a further 28 adrift in third, ahead of the next round of the series on the Porto street circuit in Portugal at the start of July.
