PSG deny Dimitar Berbatov bid

PSG deny Dimitar Berbatov bid
Paris Saint-Germain have denied making an official bid for out-of-favour Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov.
The Bulgarian's future at Old Trafford has been thrown into doubt despite finishing last season as the club's top-scorer in all competitions.
The arrival of Mexican hotshot Javier Hernandez has squeezed Berbatov out of Sir Alex Ferguson's starting line-up and the 30-year-old is expected to start the new season on the United bench - if he is still around.
And with his contract expiring next season and talks over a new contract have been slow to come by, several clubs have began to show interest in the former Tottenham Hotspur striker.
Among them are PSG, who were thought to have launched an offer for Berbatov.
However, according to talkSPORT, officials from the French side have denied making an official bid for the striker.
PSG, bankrolled by rich Qatari investors, are eager to add some big names into their squad this summer, with Berbatov believed to be top of their wish-list.
But despite denying a bid for the United striker, PSG have refused to rule out a move for the nonchalant striker, hinting that they could still make an offer if his future is confirmed to away from Old Trafford.
The French Ligue 1 club will reportedly start the bid rolling at around £10million.
