Kapil: Dhoni made mockery of the game

Mahendra Singh Dhoni's decision to bowl his seam-up stuff during the second day of the Lord's Test on Friday has been criticised by Kapil Dev.

Former India captain, Kapil Dev, feels that current skipper Dhoni made a mockery of Test cricket by bowling himself in an attempt to plug the gap created by the injured Zaheer Khan.
"This is not acceptable. On the second day of the Test match, you can't do this," fumed Kapil Dev
Kapil, who never minces his words, was also scathing about Khan who suffered a hamstring injury on the first day at Lord's.
"Zaheer is responsible for this. He has put the team in trouble. He should have known his fitness and tested his fitness levels before returning to Test cricket," he fumed.
"It's really tough to bowl 20 overs a day in Test cricket. Zaheer is responsible for this. He has killed the possibility of India winning this Test match," he added.
