Zaheer could bowl in second innings

Zaheer could bowl in second innings
Zaheer Khan may yet bowl in the First Test at Lords as India look to take the initiative away from England.
Reports claim that Zaheer put himself through a vigorous training session in the Lord's gym on Friday afternoon with Team India trainer Ramji Srinivasan in tow.
Zaheer strained a muscle in his right thigh on Day One at Lord's and played no part in Friday's action.
Although many thought that the injury may rule Zaheer out of the entire tour, sources have told TNN that Zaheer is expected to be fine and is eager to swing his arm in the second innings.
"Zaheer is eager to get back into the middle," a team source said.
In Zaheer's absence, India's bowlers struggled on a bright, sunny day, with Kevin Pietersen making his way to a solid and unbeaten double century. India captain MS Dhoni even shed his pads to make up for his absence and bowled as many as eight overs in two spells.
