Zakopalova advances in Budapest

Czech third seed Klara Zakopalova reached the third round of the Budapest Open as she beat Aleksandra Krunic 7-5 7-5.

Fifth seed Anabel Medina Garrigues of Spain beat Ukraine's Lesia Tsurenko 6-2 7-5 and Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu was also a winner as she beat Croatia's Ajla Tomljanovic 6-4 6-4.
It was a mixed day for the Bondarenko sisters as Kateryna won her all-Ukrainian showdown with Olga Savchuk 6-3 6-2 but Alona went down 6-3 6-1 to Slovakia's Zuzana Kucova.
