Silva: No problems with Tevez return
Manchester City winger David Silva doesn't believe that Carlos Tevez's return will upset the club in any shape or form.
Tevez confirmed his desire to leave Etihad Stadium this summer, however, a return to South America with Corinthians failed to come to fruition. The Argentina international has been on holiday since featuring in the summer's Copa America, but he is due to return to Manchester on Thursday.
Silva believes that Tevez will be looking forward to playing the game he loves again, despite his eagerness to quit the club for family reasons.
City have Champions League football on the horizon and with the games coming thick and fast this term, Silva knows that Tevez is still very much an asset to the team.
"I don't think so," Silva responded when asked if Tevez's return would cause unrest in the camp.
"We know Carlos well. I haven't spoken to him because he has been on his holidays. I understand him.
"When he's on holiday you have time to relax. That way, when he comes back, he is refreshed again and can't wait to start playing again.
"If he stays with us, then that is great. There are a lot of competitions this season and he would help. It's easy to create an understanding with him."
City have added the exciting young Sergio Aguero to their vastly-talented squad this summer and ex-Valencia man Silva is backing the young Argentine to be a big hit in England.
"Aguero is a brilliant player," he continued. "He will turn out very well in the Premier League and he can really help us this season with his pace and goals."
