Bayern's Olic delighted to be back

Bayern's Olic delighted to be back
Bayern Munich striker Ivica Olic has returned to training following a serious knee injury and is determined to put his fitness woes behind him.
After a successful 2009/10 campaign with the club, where he played a key role in their run to the UEFA Champions League Final, Olic's hopes for last season came crashing down when he suffered meniscus and cartilage damage last October.
After spending the last eight months on the sidelines, Olic has recently returned to full fitness and is determined to regain his place in Bayern's starting eleven, after seeing Mario Gomez and Thomas Muller form an impressive partnership up front in his absence.
"I have waited almost eight months to train with the team again and I am very happy to have gone through the whole session," Olic told Bayern TV.
While many have questioned the Croatian international's ability to force his way back into the Bayern first team, new coach Jupp Heynckes has given him a vote of confidence by stating he admires hardworking players like Olic.
"I like players like Olic who work for the team."
Olic joined Bayern from Hamburg in 2009 and has scored nineteen goals in 49 appeances since moving to the Allianz Arena.
