Amateur Bae cards superb 66

Bae Yoon-ho moved within two shots of first round leader Lee Min-chang at the Charity High1 Resort Open after carding a six-under-par 66.
With Lee safely in the clubhouse after Thursday's superb 64 at High1 Country Club, 18-year-old high school student Bae conceded just a solitary bogey against seven birdies to move into second place on the leaderboard a shot clear of Japan's Kunihiro Kamii.
But after further delays due to heavy rain and thick fog on Friday, 36 players must return on Saturday morning to complete their first rounds with over 15 hours of play lost due to the weather over the first two days in the mountains four hours North-East of Seoul.
"I am very satisfied with my first round as I putted very well and I was able to shoot a 66," said Bae, who has missed the cut on his two other appearances on the Korean Tour this season.
"If I can keep hitting the fairways I am confident I will be able to get a good score in the next round as well.
"Since I am just an amateur, I am still learning with every round I play, but I will just look to stay calm and continue to play my game."
Korea's Maeng Dong-seop is the only player who can realistically make an impact at the top of the leaderboard after reaching the penultimate green in four-under-par, with compatriot Kang Wook-soon, Japanese duo Masaya Tomida and Hiroshi Iwata and American John Huh already in the clubhouse four shots off the pace.
Australian trio Terry Pilkadaris, Matthew Griffin and Damon Welsford, China's Yuan Hao and Korea's Cho Min-gyu, Park Eun-shin, Jung Ji-ho, Bae Sung-chul and Kim Hee-mun are all tied for ninth at three under after completing rounds of 69.
"It was a very difficult day as we had problems with rain and low cloud as we did on the first day," said OneAsia Tournament Director David Parkin.
"A total of 36 players will return on Saturday morning to finish the first round, with round two set to begin at 630am. The last group in round two will tee off at 130pm and we hope for better weather.
"The course has taken the excess water extremely well and we were only able to play as much as we did on Friday due to the construction of the course."
Despite carding two eagles and a birdie over his opening four first round holes on Thursday, Korean Kim Dae-hyun plummeted to a one over 73, while Malaysia's Nicholas Fung failed to build on beginning his opening circuit with three birdies and eventually signed for a 74.
