Clichy completes Man City switch

Clichy completes Man City switch
Gael Clichy has completed his move to Manchester City from Arsenal after passing a medical at Eastlands, according to Sky Sports news.
The French left-back was in Manchester on Monday to undergo a medical which he has passed.
The deal is believed to be in the range of £7million for the 25-year-old, who has made over 250 appearances for Arsenal.
Clichy has been long linked with a move away from the Emirates, with Liverpool being the early front runners for his signature.
But City are believed to have offered the player a better pay package than the Anfield club, whose search for a new left-back continues.
Meanwhile, unsettled midfielder Samir Nasri could follow his former Gunners team-mate to Eastlands, although he does have the luxury to choose between City, Manchester United and Chelsea.
"I came to England for trophies because I've not won anything in my career, apart from an U-17 European Championship in 2004," Nasri said, according to The Guardian.
"We already earn huge wages. The priority is to make a big career and to win titles.
"This is more important than anything else."
