ICC wants Indo-Pak series to resume
An International Cricket Council task team has recommended the resumption of the exciting Pakistan-India tours.
The team advised a complete change in the administrative functioning and structure of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
The arch-rivals, due to security issues, have not participated in a bilateral series since Pakistan's last tour to India in 2007.
The ICC's Pakistan Task Team presented its 38-page report during the annual conference of the game's governing body in Hong Kong last week.
It urged the Pakistan and India governments to seek swift resolution to enable "this great iconic series to resume."
The PTT regards the appointment of the PCB chairman by the country's president as highly unusual, and wants an end to the government's undue interference in the PCB.
