Jeonbuk held to goalless draw

Jeonbuk held to goalless draw

Jeonbuk Motors were held to a goalless draw at Ulsan Horang-I to move three points clear at the top of the K-League.
Chances were few and far between with Lee Dong-guk going closest for Jeonbuk, while Ko Chang-hyun just missed the target for Ulsan late in the game.
"It is disappointing to draw for the second successive game," said Jeonbuk boss Choi Kang-hee.
"We played well against FC Seoul last week but had two men sent off and came away with just a point and it was the same tonight.
"The atmosphere in the team is not bad and we will focus on getting the right result in our next game."
Suwon Bluewings' recent mini-revival ended at Chunnam Dragons as the AFC Champions League quarter-finalists fell to a 3-1 defeat.
New signing Stevica Ristic netted on his debut to put Suwon ahead just before the break, but second-half strikes from Shin Yong-joon, Yoon Seok-yong and Wesley gave the hosts three points to move into fourth.
In the day's other match, Seongnam Ilhwa drew 2-2 with Incheon United.
Seongnam's Australian defender Sasa Ognenovski put through his own net early in the second half but Bae Hyo-sung equalised just before the hour.
Timur Kapadze restored Incheon's lead with eight minutes remaining but Song Ho-young earned a point for the hosts soon after.
