Pedrosa primed for return at Dutch GP

Pedrosa primed for return at Dutch GP
Dani Pedrosa could return to the MotoGP grid for next week's Dutch Grand Prix after he underwent more surgery on his collarbone today.
The Spaniard, who rides for Repsol Honda, was battling for second with Marco Simoncelli at the French Grand Prix in May before he clipped the Italian's rear wheel and fell into the gravel, sustaining a fracture on his right collarbone.
His most recent operation was to fix a small fragment of bone that had dislodged during his rehabilitation process and the surgeon who performed the operation reported it to be a success.
The Spaniard could begin his rehabilitation in 48 hours and return to action at Assen on June 25 after discussing it with his medical team.
He will then have to prove to MotoGP's own medical staff that he is fit to race.
