City considering Baines bid

City considering Baines bid
According to the Daily Mirror, Manchester City are willing to offer £10 million plus a choice of their transfer-listed players for Everton's Leighton Baines.
Roberto Mancini is looking for quality additions to his squad ahead of Manchester City's maiden season in the UEFA Champions League and reports have suggested that the Italian is interested in securing the services of Everton's Leighton Baines.
City are said to be willing to part with £10 million and one of their unwanted players to tempt the England international away from Goodison park.
Emmanuel Adebayor, Wayne Bridge, Craig Bellamy and Shaun Wright-Phillips have all been heavily tipped to make the move away from the Eastlands during this summer transfer window.
Everton's financial limitations have been well publicised and an opportunity to bank in on one of their assests may prove too enticing for the Merseyside club.
The 5'7 left-back had a stunning 2010-2011 campaign, playing every single minute of the season and chipping in with seven goals and eleven assists for the Toffees.
In June, the 26-year-old was rewarded for his fine form, when he made his competitive international debut against Switzerland, contributing with an assist for England's equalizer as well.
The former Liverpool youth product has been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.
