Barca to announce Fabregas signing

Barca to announce Fabregas signing
According to reports in Spain, Barcelona are planning to announce the signing of Cesc Fabregas and Alexis Sanchez by this weekend.
The duo has been heavily linked with the reigning European and Spanish champions and could now complete their long awaited moves as early as within the next 48 hours, according to Catalan radio station Ona FM.
Barcelona had a €30 million bid for Fabregas rejected by Arsenal but have finally gotten the nod from the Gunners after improving their offer by €5m.
The Arsenal captain's desire to rejoin his home club has been made known to all after attempting to engineer a move to the Nou Camp last summer.
However, Arsene Wenger's stance against selling the 24-year-old meant another season for Fabregas, who endured yet another trophy-less campaign at the Emirates Stadium.
Now the Spaniard hopes he can finally seal his dream move to Barcelona.
He was quoted as saying in AS: "I'm calm and I am optimistic. I have nothing to say and there is nothing to speak of.
"If something happens, it is because it has to happen.
"For my part, I've begun to get in shape, which is what I have to do."
Meanwhile, the path is clear for Barcelona to sign highly coveted Udinese winger Sanchez after Manchester City pulled out of the race for his signature.
