Agent: Rossi can be next Del Piero

The agent of Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi believes the 24-year-old has what it takes to become the heir to Alessandro Del Piero's throne at Juventus.

The Italian international has been linked with a move out of the Yellow Submarine this summer, with clubs like Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur both showing their interest in him.
However, his agent Federico Pastorello has revealed Rossi's desire to play in Turin and even went as far as comparing him with Juventus legend Del Piero.
"We are talking about a player who reminds me a bit of Del Piero with his technical abilities and his position on the pitch," Pastorello was quoted as saying by Tuttosport.
"It's obvious that he is fascinated by the idea of playing with Del Piero, and Rossi could eventually be his successor."
Despite all the talk, Pastorello admitted a deal for Rossi to move to Juventus is nowhere in sight but remains hopeful over it.
He added: "We can only wait and see what will happen. I have to say that there has not been an official approach yet from Juventus. Maybe something concrete will happen in the upcoming weeks."
Despite Rossi's interest in Juventus, the Old Lady may not make a move for the 24-year-old as their prime target is Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero.
