Dalglish grateful for owners' support

Kenny Dalglish has thanked Liverpool's owners for their support in the club's dealings in the transfer window.

The Reds have so far spent around £27 million for midfielders Jordan Henderson and Charlie Adam, who sealed his long-awaited move from Blackpool to Anfield a few days ago.
And sporting director Damien Comolli revealed there could be more transfer activity to look forward to before the start of the season.
Dalglish, who is looking to lead the club back into the top four and secure Champions League football, has only good words for principal owner John Henry and chairman Tom Werner.
"The owners know what they are doing and we've had great support from them," he told the club's official website.
"They are running it the right way.
"John and Tom will give us whatever they can afford. We have to use that money with a certain amount of responsibility.
"We won't get everyone we are after this summer but other clubs won't always get who they have enquired about.
"That's just the way it is. We've done some business already and we'll continue to do what we are doing in a responsible manner."
Daglish and his men fly to Guangzhou for the start of their pre-season training on Monday and the Scot is pleased to learn that Andy Carroll, Daniel Agger and Martin Kelly - each of whom ended last season injured - are available to play in a friendly against Guangdong Sunray Cave on Wednesday.
"The three of them are absolutely fine," Dalglish said. "They've played a full part in training and are fully recovered from the injuries.
"Training has been great this week and everyone is looking forward to the trip."
Liverpool kick-off their Barclays Premier League season at home to Sunderland on 13 August.
