Gomes looks ahead to South Africa

Gomes looks ahead to South Africa
Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes says he is looking forward to a third successive summer in South Africa.
The Spurs No 1 was part of Brazil's winning squad for the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2009 and returned with the Samba stars for last summer's World Cup.
Gomes travels with his club colleagues for the Vodacom Challenge later this month against newly-crowned South African champions Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs.
"First of all, the people are so friendly and they love football," said Gomes. "They love to be at the stadium and as everyone knows from the World Cup, the atmosphere is special, a lot different to other countries.
"It's a great atmosphere to play football in. The stadiums are also fantastic and South Africa did very well for the World Cup. The feeling for the game there is unbelievable.
"I think it will be ideal preparation for us and we have to be ready for the start of the season. We know it will be tougher than ever because everyone knows about Tottenham now and what we can do."
